Riverside’s Partnership with the Needham Police Department Supports Mental Health

Emily Turnbull is employed by Riverside Community Care but works for the Needham Police Department as an embedded clinician. She accompanies officers on calls related to mental health or substance use concerns and provides crisis intervention, determines if the individual needs a higher level of care, and ascertains the appropriate resources to recommend.
