Riverside Partners with Regis College to Create Advanced Degree Opportunities
Partnership provides a flexible, affordable way for Riverside employees to advance their education
Weston, MA – Regis College has partnered with Riverside Community Care to create affordable opportunities for Riverside’s employees to earn their advanced degrees while working full time. With more than 1,400 employees, Riverside is one of the largest non-profit providers of behavioral healthcare and human services in Massachusetts. Thousands of people throughout the Commonwealth depend on Riverside for mental healthcare, developmental and brain injury services, youth and early childhood programs, addiction treatment, and trauma response.
“The university is proud to provide this opportunity to Riverside employees who are critical to the lives of so many people in our communities every day,” said Regis President Antoinette Hays, PhD, RN. “The mission of Riverside aligns perfectly with our mission and expertise here at Regis. We’re excited about this opportunity and look forward to welcoming their employees to our university.”
“At Riverside we are committed to providing an environment where our employees can grow and develop professionally,” said Scott M. Bock, president and founder of Riverside Community Care. “Through this partnership with Regis, our staff will have access to high-quality and affordable advanced education opportunities that will continue to enhance their abilities to provide compassionate and quality care to the people we serve.”
With the healthcare environment constantly evolving, the workforce must evolve as well. This partnership with Regis will provide advanced degrees that support the efforts of Riverside employees to offer the highest level of care. Riverside employees will now have access to all of Regis’ bachelor completion, graduate, doctoral, and certificate programs at a reduced rate. Because of Riverside’s outstanding record of accomplishment in the community, their employees will have preferred admission into the program they choose as long as they meet the requirements.
Regis also will be offering customized professional development workshops on-site at Riverside. This is another convenient way for Riverside employees to stay up to date on the changing healthcare environment.
The partnership with Regis provides Riverside employees numerous benefits including preferred-tuition reduction of 20 percent for eligible bachelor completion, graduate, doctoral and certificate programs; 10 percent discount on fully online programs; and waiver of Regis application, MTEL tutoring, and GRE fees.
