Recapping Riverside’s Annual Gala: Another Tremendous Success!

On the evening of Friday, April 5^th, Riverside hosted its much-anticipated annual Gala to raise funds for our child mental health and family services in Cambridge, Somerville, and the surrounding communities. The Gala is the continuation of a long tradition first started by The Guidance Center, a small Cambridge-based organization that merged into Riverside in 2009.

In addition to fundraising for our child and family services, the Gala is a great way to introduce Riverside and the amazing work we do across the state to new people in our community. Our 2024 Gala was attended by over 200 individuals, and the record-breaking event netted more funds for our programs than any prior year! We are truly thankful to our incredible sponsors, guests, and hardworking volunteers who supported this special night.

The Gala would not have been possible without the devoted Riverside staff who contributed their skills and many hours of work to ensure we had a great venue, décor, food, raffle prizes, and program to inspire our guests. Trenni Casey, sportscaster at NBC Sports, joined us to share her powerful personal story that emphasized the importance of accessible mental healthcare for all. Our program also included a moving video highlighting a resilient family served by our CSA.

This year’s Gala was an incredibly impactful night filled with captivating speakers, delicious food, and exciting prizes. The electrifying event surpassed all expectations, and we’re already looking forward to our 2025 Gala. See you next year!
