Neponset River House Sweeps Away Stigma

On May 16th, Members of Neponset River House gathered at Norwood Common for their second annual “Sweep Away Stigma” event. It was a sweeping success, as NRH raised over $5,000, denounced the stigma associated with mental health care, and rallied the community around a powerful cause. Local band Slapback provided live music, the Salvation Army served free hot dogs, and guest speakers uplifted the audience with their stories of recovery, employment, and mental health advocacy.
