Annual Boston Globe Survey Again Names Riverside Community Care a Top Place to Work
Organization Honored Among the Best Employers in Massachusetts
Dedham, MA – Riverside Community Care, a nonprofit leader in behavioral healthcare and human services helping more than 40,000 people annually across Massachusetts, has been named one of the 2024 Top Places to Work by The Boston Globe for the third straight year. Among the largest employers (over 1,000 employees), Riverside ranks #12. The winners were featured in Globe Magazine on Sunday, December 8.
Earlier this year, the Globe sought nominations for top companies to work for throughout Massachusetts and received over 320 organization names. Riverside won a place in the annual ranking based on feedback from an anonymous third-party survey sent to employees of all nominated companies. Survey topics included company management, organizational direction, employee engagement, work environment, and benefits.
The complete list of 2024 Top Employers includes public, private, nonprofit, and government employers in Massachusetts and is divided into four categories based on number of employees: small (50-99), medium (100-249), large (250-999), and the largest category (1,000 or more employees, which includes Riverside).
Vic DiGravio, Riverside Community Care President & CEO, cited Riverside staff for the organization’s success. “This award is significant as it derives from extensive evaluations confidentially submitted by over 700 of our employees. I continue to be amazed at their commitment, which I encounter every day, in every program and department. They serve our neighbors when they are most in need, and they encourage and uplift one another, creating a vibrant and supportive environment for everyone.”
Riverside was also named a Top Place to Work in 2022 and 2023, and a Forbes Best-in-State Employer in 2022 and 2023.
