Riverside Named by Forbes as One of State’s Top Employers

Dedham, MA – Riverside Community Care, a nonprofit leader in behavioral healthcare and human services, has once again been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best-in-State Employers, marking the nonprofit’s third appearance on the list.  Riverside is ranked #18 of the 68 Massachusetts companies that garnered top marks, among them some of the largest and most visible corporations across the state representing multiple fields, including healthcare, technology, finance, and education.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista, Inc. to sample 70,000 workers nationwide at organizations with over 500 employees. Companies were rated based on national recommendations from across the industry, and current employees submitted surveys reporting on factors such as working conditions, diversity, salary, and the potential for development. The survey was administered anonymously so participants could freely share their opinions.

Riverside’s 1,600 clinicians, counselors, and support staff offer a wide range of mental healthcare, developmental and brain injury services, early childhood and youth programs, addiction treatment, trauma response, and more.
