Announcing Riverside’s New Medical Director

We’re proud to announce that Nicole Christian-Brathwaite, MD has assumed Riverside’s new position of Medical Director! As Riverside grows and plans for success in the changing healthcare industry, it is important for us to have a medical voice in our Leadership team. Nicole has been serving as one of our Behavioral Health Services Division Regional Medical Directors in the Newton/Dedham/Needham area. She will continue to provide leadership and support to our medical staff across the organization, participate in strategic planning, and help represent our organization in meetings related to healthcare planning.

Nicole is Board Certified in both Adult and Child Psychiatry and has a background in hospital and community health center psychiatry. She also brings an interest in multicultural behavioral healthcare and has a Masters Certificate in Global Mental Health from Harvard University, as well as numerous honors and awards. Nicole’s experience and interest in the interplay of physical health and behavioral health will be a particularly valuable perspective for us as we work more and more closely with primary care physicians and healthcare systems. Congratulations Nicole!
