Blue Jean Ball Raises $220K for Mental Healthcare and Human Services In Massachusetts

Wellesley, MA – Riverside Community Care celebrated its 9^th Annual Blue Jean Ball at the Wellesley Country Club on Friday, October 30, 2015, and raised more than $220,000 for its programs and services.  The evening was emceed by Wellesley resident Sara Underwood of Fox25 News and featured remarks from Governor Charlie Baker, Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services Marylou Sudders, and Riverside Founder and President/CEO Scott M. Bock, also a resident of Wellesley. The night was capped with dinner, a live auction, and dancing to The Campbell Brothers, world class R & B and gospel musicians.

“One of the things I admire most about Riverside,” Governor Baker told the audience, “is that the culture at Riverside has always been about striving to be great. And that means to be excellent—to be excellent in the way you serve the people that you take care of, and excellent in terms of how you treat each other, and excellent in terms of how you grow.”
