Riverside’s ACCS, PACT, and Respite services support people living with significant mental health challenges. The programs include an array of service options to help individuals develop skills and gain resources for a successful life in their communities. Referrals are available through the Department of Mental Health.

A Person-Centered, Strength-Based Approach

At ACCS, we collaborate with people and their support systems to create treatment plans that promote resiliency and recovery. 

Individuals will have a comprehensive, integrated team of clinical and peer professional supports, who will:

  • Help them identify personal goals
  • Create a treatment plan
  • Connect with supports
  • Obtain independent housing
  • Provide support and resources regarding substance use and addiction concerns 
  • Prepare for employment, education opportunities, and more

The primary team, consisting of a Clinician and a Peer Support Staff, will be the main connection with the larger integrated team, which may also include a Counselor, Nurse, Housing Coordinator, Employment and Education Specialist, Dual Recovery Specialist, Recovery Coach, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, and Family Partner. Services are provided individually and in groups, with support available 24/7.

Comprehensive Care For a Healthier Future

The Riverside Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) provides clinical, rehabilitative, and recovery-oriented services for people with mental health challenges. Our community-based team of professionals and peer mentors support the PACT member’s recovery journey. 

The services are provided as needed in a community setting and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The PACT program:

  • Provides direct rehabilitation, employment, and housing-related services
  • Offers mental health and substance use interventions
  • Connects members to community-based, self-help resources

Respite Care Reduces Hospitalizations

Respite provides longer-term, overnight clinical and rehabilitative services to help someone who is working to transition or return to independent or group living in the community. We offer therapy and counseling in a comfortable environment and help people gain access to supportive community-based services and treatment so they can avoid unnecessary inpatient hospitalization in the future. Referrals to respite care are provided via the Department of Mental Health.
